The center has been 100% privately funded by parents. We do not receive funds from NCHS or the NCPS budget. As a result, we need your help!
The Athletic Department is excited to launch Phase III of its Fitness Center Renovation. During Phase II, we purchased and installed new free weights, dumbbells, slam balls, kettlebells, lifting bars, Plyo jump boxes, plyometric bands, trap bars, and pro-style benches. Our used equipment was donated to Harding High School in Bridgeport. Thank you to the NC Rams All Sports Booster Club for its fundraising efforts and the NC Rams Football Team who helped move this heavy equipment during December!
We are currently raising $100,000 in Phase III in order to purchase needed equipment: treadmills, olympic bars and plates, racks, medicine balls and additional exercise bands. It is important to note that the Fitness Center is used by every student at the high school! It is a teaching station for fitness in physical education curriculum. The facility is used daily by students in the Adaptive Physical Education Program. Lastly, the fitness center is a key component of the strength and conditioning program, which involves 80% of our athletes. The fitness center has been in existence since 1997 and has always been 100% privately funded. As a result, we need your help to continue to provide our student/athletes with a state-of -the-art fitness facility. Please donate today!
Thank you for your generosity! Go Rams!
