Dear Students and Families,

This year, the Turkey Bowl will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 10 am on the campus of Darien High School.  Following the guidelines set by the Darien Police Department and Darien Fire Departments, tickets are limited to 4,000 spectator tickets to be shared between Darien and New Canaan. The event is being held at Darien High School because Boyle Stadium in Stamford could not guarantee the location for the next two years. Stamford has decided to move their game from Wednesday evening to Thursday morning.

When New Canaan hosted the game three years ago the allocation of tickets was split 60/40. Following the same guidelines, the percentage of tickets set aside for New Canaan is 1600. To accommodate the additional fans expected for this game Darien will bring in two temporary sets of bleachers.

There will be no day of game ticket sales at the gate.

Tickets are $10.00 and will be sold as follows:

  • Tuesday 11/19 - Each NCHS student and teacher will be allowed to purchase 1 ticket.  NCHS Student ID will be required. Cash Only. Tickets may be purchased during the following times 6:45-7:15 am, lunch block and 2:15-3:00 pm. (NCHS Gym Foyer)

  • Tuesday 11/19- 3:30-5:30 pm (NCHS Gym Foyer) Football parents, cheerleader parents and current booster club members (as of 10/21/19) may purchase tickets. Please note tickets will be limited for these groups. (details to follow)

  • Wednesday 11/20  4:00-6:00 pm (NCHS Gym Foyer) All remaining tickets will be sold to New Canaan residents (photo id with New Canaan address required). There will be a 2 ticket maximum purchase. Cash Only

Parking

Parking at Darien High School is limited and will be available to those who receive parking passes (free) with their game tickets. New Canaan has been allocated 220 passes. Parking passes will not be available for all ticket-holders so those without parking passes should plan to park at Middlesex Middle School, St. Thomas More Church, or the Noroton Heights train station (northbound lower level lot). Shuttle buses will transport fans from the train station and Middlesex before and after the game beginning at 9 am.

No tailgating will be permitted on any Darien school campuses, per Darien Police Dept.
